Aluminum Weapons
Aluminum has been the standard in the film industry for many years, and it is now becoming popular in theaters. Our blades are made from 6065 or 7075 T6 aircraft aluminum. If well-made, they ring brightly when struck. They are also easier to maintain, as aluminum does not rust. This also makes them ideal for outdoor dramas. They are also far lighter than steel, which makes them easier to handle for younger actors or actors who haven't been actively training in the use of arms, and are preferred for actors being flown (like Peter Pan). The gallery below includes weapons from many of the steel categories. Please remember, though that aluminum weapons may only be paired with other aluminum weapons. Do not strike aluminum weapons with steel ones, as the steel will damage the softer aluminum.
